CHOGM Park is a whitewashed concrete structure set in a ten-acre park built to commemorate the 1989 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting. A contrived tourist attraction, it is adjacent to Al-Hana Mosque in Kuah, and has a collection of Commonwealth flags flying as a sort of promotional tool.

Overlooking a green park with a scattering of giant statues, each depicting a famous Langkawi legend, CHOGM Park is a pleasant place for an afternoon’s exploration. Plenty of shady trees offer a respite from the afternoon sun and the statues make for great souvenir photo opportunities: the entrance to the park is on the main road, Jalan Persiaran Putra.
Opening Hours: All Day
Location: Jalan Persiaran Putra (beside Al-Hana Mosque)
