Yachting Experiences in Langkawi

Joining a Langkawi cruise is a great ways of exploring the Andaman Sea during your holiday, where you get to see deserted islets and limestone cliffs, as well as enjoy an array of local and international cuisine on a luxurious yacht. With prices starting at RM350 per person, these experiences are inclusive of meals, refreshments, personal insurance and hotel transfers, as well as a team of skilled and friendly crew members.

Most of the yachts sailing from Langkawi are fitted with an open bar and a saltwater Jacuzzi attached to the side, serving as a safety harness that you can laze about in as the boat sets out. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of spinner dolphins and flying fish along the way.

Sunset Dinner Cruise

One of the most common yachting experiences in Langkawi is the Sunset Dinner Cruise, which offers a tranquil and hassle-free excursion through the area’s untouched islets, exotic marine life and, of course, breathtaking sunset views. Due to its popularity among travelling couples and honeymooners, almost every tour company offers Langkawi sunset dinner cruises, where guests depart from Awana Porto Malai jetty at 17:00 on either a 46ft catamaran or 76ft schooner, depending on availability.

Scenic Cruise with Lunch

Alternatively, visitors can opt for the Scenic Cruise with Lunch, which comprises similar features as the sunset dinner cruise, though some yachts may stop at a prominent island in Langkawi. For about an hour or so, you can enjoy recreational activities such as swimming, kayaking and sunbathing before returning to the yacht for lunch.

Langkawi Island Half-day Excursion

If you prefer a longer yachting experience, the Langkawi Island Half-day Excursion comes highly recommended as you get to visit some of the most popular islets in the area. It’s priced at RM550 upwards per person, which includes an English-speaking guide, lunch, a saltwater Jacuzzi experience and admission fees to Pulau Dayang Bunting and Pulau Beras Basah.
