Upsidow Langkawi Upside Down House, located in Padang Matsirat, is a family-friendly attraction that has been constructed using only recycled materials such as oil drums, bicycle wheels and discarded furniture. Open daily, this two-storey house spans almost 300sqm, featuring several “liveable” spaces, such as a music room, living room, bedroom, bathroom, study and a garage housing a vintage car.

You can head to the rooftop area of the house, which is fitted with a viewing deck that overlooks Langkawi’s rice fields, rainforest and mountain range. There’s also an onsite food court where visitors can enjoy western dishes such as tacos, burgers and pizzas on top of an upcycled shipping container that’s furnished with brightly-coloured seats.
Tickets to Upsidow Langkawi Upside Down House are priced at RM25 for adults and RM20 for children between three and 12 years old. Visitors can also opt for the meal package, which adds RM5 to the entrance fee.
