Pantai Cenang Dining & Restaurants
Seafood, Local Food, Fine Dining
For dining at night, there are just so many restaurants to choose from that feature international and local or even fusion cuisine. You get a wide variety that includes Japanese, Thai, Korean, Western and local favourites served in these mostly open-air restaurants by the beach. On peak periods, the streets along Pantai Cenang are just brimming with crowds of people during the night, as the bars and restaurants are filled with noisy cheer. |

Seafood
There are so many places to eat at Pantai Cenang and the Hot Wok Cafe is just one of the local favourites. Located opposite the Semarak Beach Resort, it serves delicious Chinese and Western food. Seafood is also available. Usually packed in the evenings - not surprisingly since the prices are very reasonable. |

German Food
Backofen, a German restaurant, located right next door to the Hot Wok Cafe, has a signature bratwurst, a German sausage and does roaring business at Christmas, (peak tourist season for German speakers)
The Beach Garden and Bistro is another eatery with German cuisine and a beer garden, found right on the beach. |

Malay Food
If you're looking for a sophisticated place, then head for Restoran Pantai at the northern end of Pantai Cenang. This restaurant serves Malay and Western food. Another interesting outlet is The Delta. It's good value for money, but does not serve alcohol.
Champor Champor does a really good job of blending East with West. A concept that really fits its name as campur (champor is the old Malay spelling) means mix. Set in a serene garden with an enchanting atmosphere, it has good food and an equally good bar. This rather small restaurant has big price tags - main dishes go for around RM20 per portion - since the menu is as impressive as it is imaginative |

Fine Dining
Another restaurant to consider is the Semarak Langkawi, a terrace restaurant - pleasant environment but a bit on the expensive side.
The resorts at Pantai Cenang also have restaurant outlets where diners can go to for variety. The Pelangi Beach Resort's Chinese and Thai restaurants serve well cooked and well presented dishes, cooked with high quality ingredients. Diners can expect to pay in the region of RM50 per person for a meal. Those with healthy appetites can head for the buffet line as the Pelangi Beach Resort has a mouth-watering buffet. |
