Inapan Mama's

For something light, there is a hamburger joint in Pantai Kok called Inapan Mama's. This place is also comfortable enough for hanging out way into the night. As Pantai Kok is a rather quiet area without many tourist attractions other than its fine beach and natural surroundings, Inapan Mama's is a welcome distraction for the tourist who likes a little bit of liveliness at his holiday destination. A congenial atmosphere pervades as its patrons relax over their drinks into the early hours of the morning.

7 Wells Restaurant

Named after the spectacular seven waterfalls in the vicinity, the 7 Wells Restaurant, on the corner of the road to Teluk Datai, dishes up wholesome and delicious home-cooked chicken and fish that is reminiscent of home and family. Food is prepared on order so patrons can be assured of warm, freshly prepared mouth-watering victuals.

Although just a tiny place, it is easily the best restaurant, not only because it serves fantastic food but also because it is one of the cheapest. This restaurant has apparently built up quite a reputation by serving good food at even better prices. Nothing beats a restaurant that is high on quality and yet manages to resist the temptation of making a fast buck.

Idaman Bay Restaurant

At the Idaman Bay restaurant, diners will have no trouble getting into the mood for dinner as the restaurant overlooks the swimming pool which projects a languorous atmosphere, right up to the time they tuck into an interesting dinner of spicy food, Thai-style.

To cool off, diners can head for the bar, which has a balcony built on stilts, right over the river, which flows into the nearby sea. The fresh breeze that blows with the incoming tide helps to cool temperatures which may have gone up a few degrees during dinner.
