Where and What to Eat in Pantai Kok

Pantai Kok is home to two main areas that host the most attractions, activities, restaurants, bars and shopping venues - Telaga Harbour Park and the Oriental Village. The Oriental Village - home of the Langkawi Cable Car ride - has a variety of Asian-style cuisine while Telaga Harbour Park seafront plays host to a variety of upscale bistros and eateries.

The Oriental Village - with the backdrop of the majestic Mat Cincang Mountain and lush greenery all around - is a great way to spend a quiet night of spicy and pleasant Asian fare. The atmosphere is most definitely not a hopping nightlife scene but its ideal for families on vacation and prices are extremely reasonable.

Zabinsa’s USSR Restaurant

Featuring some ambiguously-Russian themed fare, Zabinsa’s USSR Restaurant may not be the most popular restaurant along Perdana Quay but it is surprisingly good. However after a few days of seafood and Western fare of the pizza and pasta-kind, Zabinsa’s is actually a good way to break out of the rut. Even if you’ve never had Russian cuisine, be a little adventurous and try the Zakuson – a salmon salad platter or the Kaurdak – a lamb dish.
