Pantai Kok Nightlife
What to Do at Night in Pantai Kok
Pantai Kok may not boast the most hopping bar scene – Oriental Village is a family-oriented park while Telaga Harbour features some pretty trendy restaurants but lots of shop-houses are yet to be occupied. There are a couple of flamboyant bars at Telaga Harbour Park but people tend to stick to the Pantai Cenang and Pantai Tengah area to get their nightlife fix. The restaurants here are usually patronised by expats and yachties – people who live on their boats at the marina.
Most people who come here to enjoy a drink know that it’s not exactly a party spot and in truth Pantai Kok will appeal to families and corporate groups more. The one nightclub along Pantai Kok that opens its doors till the wee hours of the morning is Bar Centro. Chime – located within Sheraton Langkawi may be a bit out of the way and a little expensive but the atmosphere is great. The only downside of bars along Pantai Kok area is the steep and winding roads that lead to them. Take a cab if you’re planning on indulging.
