Pantai Tengah Nightlife
What to Do at Night in Pantai Tengah
Most locals will tell you that the Pantai Cenang and Pantai Tengah area is the best place for a night of fun. Everything you need – dancing, drinking, pool tables, live music, good food and better-looking people are a dime a dozen here – and best of all, the ocean, is only a heartbeat away.
Nonetheless as the evening wears on, lots of folks end up along the Pantai Tengah stretch – a well-trodden nightspot. Locals are familiar with it – visitors often make the mistake of assuming that Pantai Cenang is the only place to drink the night away.
Without beating around the bush, Pantai Cenang’s got the most bars on Langkawi Island but Pantai Tengah’s got one or two bona fide clubs where you can groove to retro, hip hop and techno music. Don’t be mistaken though, if you’re an inveterate pub-crawler; you’re not going to need several shots of double espresso and an ice-pack for your head in the morning - Pantai Tengah’s after-hour’s scene isn’t especially headache-inducing.Read More
