Jetty Point Complex is a two-storey shopping mall conveniently located at the entrance of Kuah Jetty. It is a five-minute drive from Kuah Town Centre while Dataran Lang or Eagle Square is a 15-minute walk away. Visitors who travel to Langkawi via boat or ferry will head to this harbour to board or disembark. As Kuah Jetty is the main ferry terminal in Langkawi, the ferries arrive here and depart to various locations such as Kuala Perlis (the nearest jetty point for Peninsular Malaysia), Kuala Kedah, Penang, as well as Satun, Thailand. A number of cruise ships from Singapore also come and dock at Kuah Jetty.

This makes Jetty Point Complex a frequent last-minute shopping stopover for visitors before they board the ferry back to the mainland. The top floor houses a department store which offers a selection of branded clothing and accessories for men, women and children, as well as lingerie, cosmetics, perfume, leather goods, sportswear, liquor and cigarettes. The ground floor features smaller shops selling jewellery, eyewear, watches, cameras, souvenirs, chocolates and shoes. There are also cafes, bakeries and fast food outlets such as KFC, Kenny Rogers Roasters, and Starbucks for visitors to rest and grab a quick bite before heading to their next destination.
Ample parking spaces as well as bus and taxi services are available at Jetty Point Complex. In front of the entrance, there are a number of tour offices where visitors can buy boat tickets and tour packages, ranging from half-day island hopping tours to jungle-trekking tours. For the more adventurous visitors, renting a car or motorcycle is one of the best ways to get around Langkawi without the hassle of waiting for public transportation. Most of the tour offices at Jetty Point Complex offer vehicle rentals with reasonable daily rates. Do note that international visitors must carry a valid international motorcycle license as these rental companies are not allowed to rent out a motorcycle based on a driver's license that is issued from their home country.
While Langkawi Island is pretty easy to get around, Jetty Point Complex also houses a massive Tourist Information Centre which is run by the Malaysian government. Friendly staff at the information counter are happy to advise first-time visitors on the best places to go on the island. There are also complimentary maps and brochures of various states in Malaysia besides Langkawi, including Penang, Kuala Lumpur, and Malacca.
With numerous facilities and services as well as a wide array of duty-free goods, Jetty Point Complex is a great one-stop destination for visitors to head to before and after exploring the many sights and sounds of Langkawi Island.
