One of Langkawi's popular attractions, with courses in some of the most spectacular venues in Asia. Surprisingly, there are three courses in this rugged and beautiful island, all in great locations...
Langkawi Golf Club
The Langkawi Golf Club was the first golf club to be built on the island. It boasts an 18-hole, 72-par beachfront course and close proximity to Kuah Town. The club has picturesque views around the moderately-challenging course with a lake to provide some hazard. The general golfing style here is relaxed and casual.
Facilities: Golf buggies, restaurant, Pro shop, lockers and a driving range.
Tee-off: 07:30 – 16:30.
Golf Club Datai Bay
The Golf Club Datai Bay is a public course carved out of a tropical rainforest in Datai Bay, welcoming golfing enthusiasts from across the world. Facing the Andaman Sea, this international 18-hole, 72-par golf course was created with a nature theme in mind to allow golfers to play in harmony with nature.
Facilities: Clubhouse, Pro shop, restaurant, locker rooms and buggies.
Tee-off: 07:30 – 16:30.
Gunung Raya Golf Resort
This golf course, designed by American golf architect Max Wexler, is situated at the base of mythical Raya Mountain in Kisap. The course features beautiful rolling greens, panoramic tees, and impeccable fairways that are magnificently contoured with sand traps and water hazards. It is also the most recent 18-hole, 72-par golf course to be built in Langkawi.
Facilities: Clubhouse, locker rooms, beverage facilities and equipment for hire.
